Only People has disbanded.
Although Only People have played all of Detroit’s top venues like the Magic Stick, Emerald Theater, Berkley Front and the Magic Bag, don’t group these guys with Detroit’s famous garage scene. “Those Aren’t Even Words”, Only People’s debut CD, musically and sonically sounds like it could have come straight out of the UK. Comparisons to Coldplay, Radiohead, the Beatles and even Simon & Garfunkel are inevitable after a casual listen to the disc.
“Those Aren’ tEven Words” features the pristine vocals of Jonathon Schultz and the atmospheric stylings of guitarist Daniel Runey over the rock solid rhythm section of drummer Rob Parks and bassist Dan Bowering.
