Dave Edwards Release: Pickin' Singles EP on Hanzie Records

Dave Edwards has just released “PICKINSINGLES”, a 6-song EP for digital download and is now available on iTunes and CDBaby. “PICKINSINGLES” was produced or co-produced by Hanzie CEO Bob Monteleone and recorded over the last 10 months at Nothing Fancy and Harmonie Park Studios. Featuring a warm blend of acoustic guitars, mandolin, accordion and upright bass, “PICKINSINGLES” represents a new “back to the roots” approach by the longtime Detroit classic rocker. Lending a hand are prominent musicians keyboardist Jimmie “Bones” Trombley (from Kid Rock’s band), drummer Myles Rutledge (Stumbling Mice), bassist Ken Pesick and mandolin player Mitch Purdy (both from Acoustic Madness), vocalist April Monteleone (Belle Islanders), accordion player Mark Iannace (Jill Jack’s band) and pedal steel player Larry LaBeck (the Orbitsuns). Dave’s live band The Look roar through the Frankie Miller song (and only cover in the set) “Be Good To Yourself”.

PICKINSINGLES” includes “I’m Wondering” and “Rock And Roll Fever”, both released in early 2011 and receiving airplay on WDET/101.9 and WCSX/94.7. The EP also includes “I Found Love”, whose video achieved extreme exposure across the US and Canada.
