Second Look Vol. 2 almost ready!
Dave Edwards’ 2nd installment of Second Look is almost ready. Second Look is the follow-up to Dave’s debut CD, the Hanzie/Scorpio 2004 release Take Another Look. Second Look is being released in four 4-song installments. Volume 1 was released earlier this year, and featured the Edwards/Shawn Murphy duet “Soul Deep”, that recieved airplay on Detroit radio stations WCSX 94.7 and WRIF 101.1. Shawn Murphy is Bob Seger’s longtime back-up singer and currently is a member of Little Feat. She also toured & recorded with Eric Clapton.
Dave is currently in NYC/New Jersey with his band showcasing some of the new material for some industry insider events. When he returns to Michigan, he’ll put the finishing touches on Second Look Vol 2.
One final note: Vol 2 features an ace version of Carole King’s “It’s Too Late”.
